Overall Responsibilities:
To provide support to children and/or youth and adolescents experiencing difficulties; and provide an effort to facilitate growth, behavioral and emotional improvements to those individuals and their families.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Conducts intake or preliminary interviews to determine needs of clients/families; provides support to a group of individuals and/or families; investigates allegations, provides advocacy and assesses degree of risk to client; develops and implements case plans in concert with the client, based on needs; assists in providing the necessary arrangements according to clients’ needs; contacts other community services/agencies as needed; assists in arranging transportation for clients’ appointments; testifies in court regarding clients' needs; maintains accurate documentation and records on clients and their progress and/or lack thereof; prepares required reports as mandated by federal, state or county policies and procedures; makes regular home visits to clients, whether in home, school, or CYF office site; performs emergency on-call duty; works with foster parents and other providers of child placement services; conducts meetings with groups of youth or groups of parents around specified topics; conducts home evaluations:  foster, adoptive, and child custody.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social services, psychology or related field.
No experience required.
