Overall Responsibilities:
To administer and coordinate the Community Development block grant fund projects assuring all are in compliance with established laws and guidelines.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Researches, writes and administers grant programs; oversees the Housing Programs including but not limited to assisting Housing Rehab Coordinator and preparing reports; represents the County at public meetings and prepares departmental media releases relating to Community Development; compiles financial and program data; administers grant programs with assigned municipalities; instructs engineers, vendors and contractors in compliance methods and procedures; administers and reviews contracts for content and appropriateness regarding projects; monitors and communicates changes in government regulations to appropriate parties.

Bachelor's Degree in Community Development Planning, or related field.
5+ years experience in grant writing, community development, planning, public administration preferred, or any acceptable combination of experience and training.
