IT Technician - Full-time

Overall Responsibilities:
The IT Technician serves to provide level 1 help desk support.  Support and maintenance of in-house computer systems, desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, phones and other peripherals will be integral to this position.  This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining software, hardware and other peripheral equipment in a timely and accurate fashion.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provide timely level 1 help desk support via phone/e-mail.  Provide both onsite and remote installation/technical support of: computer hardware, computer software, printers, basic network outages, operating systems, County information systems, office phones, cell phones, and other devices as requested.  Complete operating system installs, image computers and set-up computers within various County departments. Create, maintain and distribute computer images. Create technical documentation for IT related processes and systems.  Assist with the maintenance of County websites.  Provide training to County Employees.  Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Certifications are a plus.
 Two or more years work experience in a technical support role or any acceptable combination of experience and training.
