To plan, organize and conduct program management for the Department of Planning including subdivision and land development and any other assigned programs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Administers the County’s Subdivision and Land Development ordinance; administers the County's Liquid Fuels Program including preparation of annual budget, audit coordination and reporting. Coordinates Assists in the administration of the Uniform Construction Code Group including scheduling, reporting, and appeals board coordination. Conducts workshops for local communities and public and government officials. Assists in the development of various County plans including land use, transportation, recreation and solid waste management. Answers public inquiries or directs callers to responsible individual. Monitors and maintains records of program status. Determines program feasibility and makes recommendations. Types letters, forms, reports and other correspondence. Maintains program files and records. Attends meetings, trainings, and seminars as required. Assists in recycling efforts within the County.
Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Public Administration, or related field.
1-3 years planning experience, or any acceptable combination of experience and training.
