This is a full-time position at 40 hours per week.
To perform general maintenance duties within and around the buildings and grounds of the County.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Provides maintenance duties. Checks gauges and other equipment for proper operation, and makes minor adjustments under the supervision of the supervisor. Makes rounds to ensure safety within buildings. Collects trash and recyclables. Transports materials to/from proper departments. Changes light bulbs as needed. Cuts grass with mower or riding tractor. Shovels snow from walks and driveways. Paints buildings, fixtures, and other objects as required.
High school diploma or equivalent. Must have a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License successfully complete a Motor Vehicle Records Check.
6-12 months working experience in maintenance or custodial environment. Must have some experience with plumbing and electrical repairs and construction.
